Interviews

Today I am writing the interview from Tuesday. A massive thanks to Esther Legg-Bagg for her time. The most interesting points, I believe that were covered, was the stable active role of the church, who's motives remain unchanged and a vocalisation of what is important to any community which is to be connected, there was also a mention of these problems being typical of most areas, which I thought was very valid and is likely to be included in the film. I also walked around Lockleaze and spoke to a very helpful man called Dominic in the community centre, and have a possible meeting with Mavis next Thursday, who apparently has lots of anecdotes of the local area. I found some incredible views after following a route Louis Tompkins recommended. Before I thought i would have to script some of the narrative for Luis and Rose but now I think I'll just ask them exactly the same questions as everyone else and see what comes out. I'm ashamed that I was so scared of this project, now i'm getting involved with it I'm annoyed at the wasted time.

I will be developing the photographs I took tomorrow so they will be up soon.

I also have to begin to consolidate my research and do a heck of a lot of writing this weekend.
